Unions at McGill

As of this year most employees at McGill have been unionized. There are several different unions representing the many employees at the university, who all work together to build a safe and happy workplace. If you have more than one job at McGill it is possible that you are in more than one union.

The Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill respresents three bargaining units: Teaching Assistants, Invigilators, and Course Lecturers. Each of these bagaining units has its own collective agreement. For more information please visit AGSEM’s website at www.agsem-aeedem.ca.

MUNACA

The McGill University Non-Academic Certified Association is the union representing all full time non academic employees at McGill. In many cases casual employees work with MUNACA members. For more information visit their website at www.munaca.com.
