AMUSE-MUNACA Political Merger
At the Annual General Meeting in 2012, members of AMUSE voted to create a committee composed of AMUSE and MUNACA representatives with the aim of discussing a potential merger of our unions. After many productive meetings and discussions, the Merger Committee has prepared the merger proposal documents you will find attached. AMUSE and MUNACA are releasing these to our respective members this afternoon. That’s right - a newsletter you and your MUNACA colleagues will receive.
AMUSE sees a potential merge between our unions as a way to strengthen bonds of solidarity, cooperation, and the power of unions at this University. The documents attached contain information on the Whys, Hows, Whens, and Whats of the proposed merger.

Info Sessions
There will be two info sessions regarding the merger on Thursday, July 17th, 2014 from 12:00 – 14:00 & 15:00 – 17:00, held in ARTS 150. MUNACA will host the first, AMUSE will hold the second and it is the perfect time to come ask questions and provide suggestions regarding the proposal.
