[AMUSE Newsletter] Event on Mac Campus; Open Board Spots; Mental Health Awareness Week

Hey Team,

Hope that everyone is doing well, and isn’t too upset that it’s starting to get so cold. As always, a lovely reminder to fill out bargaining surveys for full time or part time workers, and here’s a video of a baby otter learning how to swim.

First-Ever Mental Health Week at McGill this Week!

The Student’s Society of McGill University, Student Housing and Hospitality Services, and Student Services would like to invite you to McGill’s first ever cross-campus Mental Health Awareness Week from November 7th-16th. This will be a ten-day event series aiming to empower McGill community members to discuss and act on mental health issues on campus and in Montreal. Our goal is to provide student-led mental health programming while highlighting existing services on campus. We’ll be hosting activities such as therapy dogs, art shows, faculty and student presentations, student-led workshops among other initiatives on the topic of mental health.
See here for a detailed schedule and we hope to see staff, faculty and students taking part! Check out our website.
